The IRV TECHNOLOGIES IRV62 includes the following features:

CD/MP3/MP4/DVD Disc Player: Compatible with standard size (4.75″ or 12cm) CD, MP3, MP4, DVD, CD-R, CD-RW, and JPEG-CD discs. It plays region 1 DVDs (USA and Canada).

5V Charge Port: A port for 5V charging of devices like an iPod. This is NOT a USB port for music playback and cannot accept a flash drive.

Built-In AM/FM Tuner: Features 18 preset FM stations and 12 AM stations.

High Definition Input/Output: Includes 1 High Definition input and 1 High Definition output with ARC (Audio Return Channel) function.

BT (Bluetooth) Technology: Enables secure wireless connections for streaming music and handheld control from your wireless device.

Multi-Zone Audio/Video: Supplies audio and video outputs to three different zones. Zones 1 and 2 receive standard stereo audio.

1. POWER / MUTE: A quick push turns the power on/off or mutes the device. Push and hold for 5 seconds to fully turn the device off.

16. STOP: Press once to suspend playback. Press a second time to end all disc playback.

17. MUTE: Turns off the sound in all zones. Press again to resume.

18. AUDIO (DVD Only): Adjusts the surround sound mode and selects the audio language.

19. VOLUME (+ or -): Increases or decreases the volume level.

20. SETUP: Displays the DVD setup menu on the connected video monitor.

A. Status information: Shows the current mode (e.g., DVD, USB, AUX, ARC).

B. Play/pause: Indicates if playback is active or paused.

C. Zone speaker: Shows which speaker zones are active (ZONE 1, 2).

D. Source, Track time, Frequency information Display: The main display area for numbers and text.

E. Play mode: Shows play modes like INT (Intro), RPT (Repeat), RDM (Random), PRG (Program).

F. EQ setting: Displays the current equalizer setting (e.g., POP, CLASSIC, ROCK, FLAT).

G. Radio channels preset: Shows the preset number for the current radio station.

H. Stereo indicator: Indicates a stereo radio signal is being received.

Activate Radio Mode: Press the AM/FM button to access the radio. Press it again to cycle through the desired bands: AM1, AM2, FM1, FM2, FM3.

Manual Tuning: Select a band, then press the single arrow buttons (PREVIOUS/NEXT) to move the frequency channels down or up one step at a time.

Auto Search Tuning: Press and hold the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to automatically search for the next available station at a higher or lower frequency.

Automatic Store / Preset Scan: While listening to the radio, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button. The receiver will automatically scan and save strong stations into the preset memory bank. A short press of the PLAY/PAUSE button will scan through the saved preset stations.

Auto Best Station Memory: In FM1 mode, pressing the NEXT button will scan from low to high frequencies, storing each strong station found until all 18 FM presets are full. This can also be done for the AM band (12 presets).

Manual Frequency Presets: Tune to a desired frequency, then press and hold one of the panel number keys (1-6) for 3 seconds. The frequency is now saved to that preset number. Repeat for other presets and bands.

Recall Frequency Presets: Select the desired band (AM1, AM2, FM1, FM2, FM3), then press the desired panel number key (1-6) to tune to the stored station.

1. Insert a Disc: Insert a compatible disc into the disc loading slot. The unit should automatically switch to Disc mode and begin playback.

2. Play / Pause: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start or pause playback.

3. Stop: Press the STOP button to stop playback. Press PLAY to resume.

4. Next / Previous: Press the NEXT or PREVIOUS buttons to skip to the next or previous track or chapter.

5. Fast Forward / Fast Reverse: Press the F.FWD or F.RWD buttons to scan through the disc at 2X, 4X, 8X, or 20X speed. Press the PLAY button to return to normal speed.

6. Eject: Press the EJECT button to remove the disc from the unit.

1. Turn on the IRV TECHNOLOGIES IRV62 power.

2. Press the BT button on the unit to enter BT Link mode.

3. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.

4. Select “iRV62” from the list of available devices and click to connect.

5. When successfully connected, the screen on the IRV62 will show “BT LINK”.

To access the main setup menu, a video monitor must be connected. Press the “SETUP” button on the remote control to activate the on-screen display menu. Use the navigation arrow buttons on the remote to move through the menu options and press OK to select.

System Setup Menu Options:

TV SYSTEM: Choose between NTSC, PAL, or AUTO.

SCREEN SAVER: Turn the screen saver ON or OFF.

RESOLUTION: Select the video output resolution (e.g., 480i/576i, 720p, 1080i, 1080p).

TV TYPE: Select the aspect ratio (4:3PS, 4:3LB, 16:9).

PASSWORD: Set a password for parental controls.

RATING: Set the parental control rating level (e.g., G, PG, PG13, R, NC-17).

DEFAULT: Select RESTORE to reset all settings to factory defaults.

Language Setup Menu Options:

OSD LANGUAGE: Select the language for the on-screen display.

AUDIO LANG: Select the default audio language for DVDs.

SUBTITLE LANG: Select the default subtitle language for DVDs.

MENU LANG: Select the default language for DVD menus.

Audio Setup Menu Options:

AUDIO OUT: Configure the SPDIF digital audio output (SPDIF/OFF, SPDIF/RAW, SPDIF/PCM).

HDMI AUDIO: Set the HDMI audio output format (e.g., PCM).

If some errors occur on the LCD or a button press has no function, first try turning the unit off and restarting it. If the problem persists, perform a Factory Default Restart.

How to Perform a Factory Default Restart:

1. Press and hold the POWER button for 5 seconds until the unit shuts off.

2. Restart the unit by pressing the POWER button again.

Factory defaults will be reset with this type of restart.

To ensure safe operation of your IRV TECHNOLOGIES IRV62, please follow these precautions:

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not remove the cover or open the unit. There are NO USER SERVICEABLE parts inside. Refer all servicing to QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL.

Service: Do not open the cabinet yourself. Contact a professional technician for any service needed and use only factory-recommended components for replacement.

Cleaning: Please turn the unit off when not in use. Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the face of the system.

Moisture: Moisture can cause the loader’s lens to malfunction. If this occurs, turn the unit on, eject any disc, and let the unit run for 1-2 hours to vaporize the moisture inside.

Power Cycling: Do not repeatedly turn the unit off and on. After turning it off, wait 10 seconds before turning it on again.

Disc Usage: Do not use broken, scratched, or twisted discs in the player, as this could result in damage. Use only standard 5″ (12cm) discs.

No Power: Check and make sure the fuse is not blown. Replace the fuse with the proper value if necessary.

Poor radio reception or static:

Ensure the antenna is fully extended and is the proper length.

If the antenna is broken, replace it.

The broadcast signal may be too weak.

Check that the antenna is properly grounded at its mounting location.

Disc cannot be loaded: A disc may already be in the machine. Clear the disc by pressing the eject button.

No Picture:

Check that the video line from the main unit to the TV is connected properly.

Check for improper setting of the TV SYSTEM. Set the TV SYSTEM to “NTSC” according to the connected television.

Disc error appears on screen: The disc may be damaged or dirty. Clean the disc and retry.

No color on video: Turn the unit off and restart it again. If the issue persists, use the Factory Default Restart procedure.

If any problems persist after this checklist, consult your nearest service dealer. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit yourself.
