3. Lubricate the sealing ring:
• Apply a small amount of lubricating grease to the surface [B] of the sealing ring.
4. Prepare the press-in fittings:
• Push the rotary shaft seal on the shaft to the stop.
5. Press in the seal:
• Position the press-fitted piece on the shaft.
• Press the rotary shaft seal with the press-fitted piece firmly into the flange. The rotary shaft seal should be inserted fully into the flange.
6. Finalize Assembly:
• Remove the press-fitted piece.
• Fit the featherkey, if present.
