The ERGOBABY METRO stroller is intended for use from 6 months up to 22kg (approximately 4 years), whichever comes first. The seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months. Always use the stroller in the fully reclined position for babies who have not yet developed good head and neck control.

Child Safety:

• This product is not suitable for running or skating.

• All Metro products are for use under adult supervision.

Loading and Stability:

• Any load attached to the handle, on the back of the backrest, or on the sides of the vehicle affects the stability of the stroller.

• Do not hang diaper bags, including the Ergobaby diaper bag, on the stroller handlebar. The Ergobaby diaper bag must be placed in the basket.

• Do not place more than 1.4 kg in the seat back pocket.

• Do not place more than 4.5 kg in the basket.

• Do not place parcels or accessory items on the stroller unless they are made by or specifically approved by Ergobaby.

Accessories and Parts:

• Use only accessories and replacement parts supplied and approved by Ergobaby.

• The Metro Weather Shield is designed exclusively for use with the ERGOBABY METRO. Do not use it on any other item.

• The stroller sunshade must be correctly installed before installing the Weather Shield to ensure proper airflow and avoid the risk of suffocation.

• When using the Weather Shield, ensure it does not come into contact with the child’s face.

• Constantly monitor the child when using the Weather Shield. DO NOT use this product in warm weather. Remove the Weather Shield if the child starts to feel uncomfortable or perspire.

To unfold your ERGOBABY METRO stroller, follow these steps:

1. On the handlebar, slide and hold the release button, then press the main unfolding button.

2. While holding the buttons, lift the handlebar upwards. The stroller frame will begin to open.

3. Continue lifting until the frame fully extends and you hear a “CLICK”, which indicates it has locked into the open position.

To fold your ERGOBABY METRO stroller, follow these steps:

1. Press both buttons on the handlebar at the same time.

2. Push the handlebar forwards and downwards. The stroller will begin to collapse.

3. Continue pushing until it is fully folded. You will hear a “CLICK” when the storage lock engages to keep the stroller in its folded position.

The parking brake is operated by a pedal located near the right rear wheel. To engage the brake, press down on the pedal. To release the brake, lift the pedal up with your foot.

To secure your child in the ERGOBABY METRO:

1. Press the button in the center of the crotch buckle to release all straps.

2. Place your child in the seat. Connect the shoulder strap buckle to the waist strap buckle on one side.

3. Repeat for the other side.

4. Insert both completed side buckles into the central crotch buckle until they click. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug and secure fit.

To adjust the shoulder harness height, unthread the straps from their current slot on the seat back and re-thread them through a higher or lower slot as needed.

Seat Recline: The recline is adjusted using a strap and clip system on the back of the seat. To recline the seat, squeeze the clip and allow the backrest to lower. To raise the backrest, pull on the loose ends of the straps until the seat is at the desired angle.

Leg Rest: The leg rest can be adjusted to different positions for your child’s comfort. Lift or push it down to your desired position.
