It is recommended that luminaires are installed and fitted by a licensed electrician in line with current wiring regulations.

These instructions should be read carefully and retained after installation for future reference and maintenance.

Always switch off the mains supply before Installation or Servicing.

Before starting, ensure these instructions have been read carefully.

Check that you have all the tools and accessories required to complete the installation correctly.

Unpack the accessory and verify that you have all necessary tools to install the extrusion safely and in compliance with current electrical standards.

Ensure there are no obstructions or services in the installation area.

STEP 1: Isolate the mains power supply before commencing installation of the floodlight. (Diagram 1: Isolate mains power)

STEP 2:

i) Remove the end caps from the extrusion. (Diagram 2i: Remove end cap from extrusion typ. both ends)

ii) Remove the diffuser from the extrusion. (Diagram 2ii: Remove diffuser from extrusion)

STEP 3:

(i) Position the fixing brackets in your desired final position, mark position using a pen/pencil. (Diagram 3i: Mark hole fixing centres)

(ii) Drill fixing holes according to your chosen fixing method. (Diagram 3ii: Drill fixing holes, if required)

(iii) Insert rawl plug into hole depending on fixing method used. (Diagram 3iii: Insert rawl plug into hole, if required)

(iv) Fix in position. Fixings are not supplied. (Diagram 3iv: Fix in position)

STEP 4: Locate LED strip into extrusion and secure in place using adhesive backing. (Diagram 4: Locate LED strip into extrusion)

STEP 5: Secure extrusion into surface clips fixed in step 3. (Diagram 5: Secure extrusion into surface clips)

STEP 6: Replace diffuser into extrusion. (Diagram 6: Replace diffuser into extrusion)

STEP 7: Feed cables from LED strip through the hole in the end cap and replace end cap by pushing back into the extrusion. (Diagram 7: Feed cables through end cap, locate end cap into extrusion)

STEP 8: See LED strip dedicated instructions for any wiring details. Restore power supply, switch on & test. (Diagram 8: Restore mains power)
