4. Plug the garden’s power cord into an electrical outlet.
5. Touch the ‘QUICK PLANT’ button, then follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I use the control panel?

• Touch the button to temporarily turn the LED Light On or Off. This action will not affect the timing of your light cycle, and occasional use will not harm your plants. Once selected, the Light will stay On or Off until the next time it is set to go On or Off.
• Touch the ‘QUICK PLANT’ button when you want to start a new garden. This will refresh the timers and settings.
• Touch the ‘GARDEN TIPS’ button to read the scheduled tip that may be available on your screen, or to read a new tip at any time.
• Touch the and buttons to scroll between settings and/or menu options.
• Touch the ‘OK MENU’ button to access the garden’s Menu and to select and confirm settings.

Garden Settings allow you to fully customize different features of your AeroGarden, including the clock, light, plant food cycle, pump cycle, the number of days planted, and audio alerts. It will also provide a full report of your Garden’s Status.

How do I add plant food?

Add liquid plant food to the bowl when you first plant your Seed Pod Kit and when the ‘Add Plant Food’ alert activates, which occurs every 2 weeks. Follow the directions on the liquid plant food bottle for feeding amounts, and then top off the water level to the ‘Fill to Here’ line. Touch the ‘OK MENU’ button once to turn off the alert and reset the Plant Food timer.

What is the pump cycle when I first start my garden?

When you first start your garden, the pump is set to run for 1 hour every 11 hours while it is in Germination Mode. After 2 weeks, it automatically shifts to the best pump cycle for the plants in your garden. There is also a ‘Test Pump’ feature available under OK MENU/ Settings/Pump.

How do I know when the water levels are low?

The AeroGarden will indicate when water levels are High, Medium, and Low. A ‘Low Water’ alert will appear when the water level is too low. For best results, keep the water level topped up to the ‘Fill to Here’ line, but do not overflow.

How does the LED Grow Light work?

The AeroGarden has a built-in timer for its LED Grow Light that automatically provides plants with the ideal amount of light. The time of day the light is off does not matter as long as the plants receive the correct amount of light. The time of day the light comes on or off, as well as the total number of hours it is on, can be customized under OK MENU/ Settings/Light.
